Summer 2014

Especially for Young Authors!

Oregon Writing Project Young Authors' Camps are for students who like to write! They are not remedial writing classes. These camps offer kids a unique opportunity to develop their creativity and writing talents. Campers participate in group activities and conferences with camp teachers to strengthen and build on their writing skills. Campers experience in-depth writing instruction, dedicated time to write, and opportunities to share their writing with peers in a relaxed and playful camp atmosphere.

Lead instructors are experienced classroom teachers who serve as Oregon Writing Project teacher-consultants. All camp instructors' make it a goal to foster in students a lifelong appreciation and enjoyment of writing.
