At Raider Orientation Registration, you will:
- Begin the process of establishing meaningful connections within the SOU community.
- Discover campus resources essential to your intellectual growth and personal wellness.
- Utilize technology and resources that are necessary for your enrollment and academic progress.
- Understand the relationship between civic engagement, the curriculum, and career planning.
- Take necessary placement exams and meet with your academic advisor and register for fall classes!
Your journey to Southern Oregon University begins with Raider Welcome Programs! Raider Welcome Programs consist of Pre-Welcome Adventures and Week of Welcome (WoW). Both Pre-Welcome Adventures and Week of Welcome are designed to help you connect to the SOU community.
Pre-Welcome Programs: September 17-September 21
If you would like to move to campus early we have four tracks of Pre-Welcome Adventures to choose from.
Week of Welcome (WoW): Thursday, September 22
WoW offers a variety of programs, workshops, receptions, and fun events designed to welcome and introduce you and your family to SOU.
WoW Optional Adventures: Sunday, September 25
Four optional trips allow you the opportunity to explore Ashland and experience its unique cultural and recreational activities.
