Scholarships
Music performance scholarships ranging from $600 to $5000 per year are available to new and continuing students who major in music and are outstanding performers. Auditions are held in February for the following year. Audition by tape or a live audition at another time may be arranged. Students must reaudition each year to be considered for a scholarship.
SOU has been honored with membership in COPLAC, a national organization recognizing superior public liberal arts colleges and universities, only the third school on the west coast invited to join this prestigious organization. SOU is also fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM).
Scholarship auditions for 2008-09 will be held Saturday, February 9, 2008, in the SOU Music Building.
