The objective of the Master of Music: Performance program is to prepare students with advanced skills in performance. Students will develop their technique, expand their repertoire, and acquire teaching and performance experience unique to graduate study. Students will benefit from both practical and academic study.
The Master of Music combines intensive performance with scholarly rigor. Applied study in your major area is combined with repertory study and related core coursework in music history and theory. Solo and chamber recitals, a research project, and comprehensive oral examinations are required. The degree is a 48-credit, six-quarter program. Join students from all over the world who admire our performance facilities, the intensive faculty-student interaction, an incredibly beautiful environment, and the creative, connected, and personal experience our program offers.
