TOEFL: Test of English as a Foreign Language
The TOEFL exam measures the ability of non-native speakers of English to use and understand North American English as it is spoken, written, and heard in college and university settings. The TOEFL exam is offered at the Prometric Testing Center located in the HEC in downtown Medford.

A TOEFL Practice Online Tour is also available for students who want to prepare for the TOEFL iBT. The Official Guide to the TOEFL iBT is available on the web site at www.ets.org/toefl. This handbook with audio CD offers over 30 hours of lessons and practice activities for test takers and can be purchased for $30.
