DSST: Dantes Subject Standardized Tests

The DANTES Subject Standardized Tests provide the opportunity for students to demonstrate college-level achievement through exams in undergraduate college courses. Please check with your institution to verify the requirements for your degree. There are 37 DSST exams that are offered in the areas of Social Science, Business, Math, Applied Technology, Humanities, and Physical Science. DSST exams are administered by appointment only at the SOU Medford Higher Education Center, Tuesday through Thursday, from 1 pm to 3 pm. The fee is $80 per exam plus $30 for administrative services. Military personnel and veterans receive reimbursement for DSST exam fees through DANTES. DANTES does not refund administrative fees charged by the national test center that provides testing services. The examinee is responsible for paying this fee.
