- Also requires Mth 261 or Ph 221 to provide introduction to vectors and vector operations

- Core 103 or Wr 122 is also a prerequisite
- Mth 490 prerequisites are senior standing in the mathematics major, Mth 311, and completion of at least 2 of the upper division sequences required for the major
- Mth 243 highly recommended
- May replace Mth 253 prerequisite with Ph 371
- Mth 253 required for Mth 331
