Executive Search Company CEO to Speak at SOU Business Lecture Series (2/25/09)
The Chief Executive Officer of Billingsly Associates, LLC, a national executive search firm, will be the next speaker in the Southern Oregon University (SOU) School of Business’s Executive Lecture Series (ELS) to be held in the Presentation Hall at the new SOU/RCC Higher Education Center (HEC), 101 South Bartlett, Medford. Dorothy M. Billingsly will present “Effective Interviewing Techniques,” Monday, March 2, at 5:30 pm.
“We’re very fortunate to have Dorothy Billingsly, an executive with vast experience, as our next speaker,” says SOU School of Business Dean Dave Harris. “Dorothy is one of the most effective search consultants in the country.”
Billingsly has served at the partner level in three Top Ten retained, executive search firms, including the world’s largest. She has more than 20 years experience conducting searches for the positions of chairperson, president, partner and senior executive for healthcare organizations, professional service firms, Fortune 500 companies, start-ups and not-for-profit organizations. She founded Billingsly Associates in January 1998, in New York, later expanding to Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles and Stamford, CT. All offices are now consolidated in the Tampa, FL area. Billingsly has a master’s in business administration from Western Illinois University.
