Academic Interests and Background

Focus on Adult Education: Language Proficiency and Critical/Creative Thinking

To learn academic Spanish, Dr. Olsen studied grammar, literature, and composition at the University of Mexico and more recently studied the works of the Spanish mystical poets in Spain. Besides teaching Spanish classes at SOU, Dr. Olsen also teaches a distance education class for Rogue Community College and facilitates workshops for the state of Oregon.
