Educational Background
PhD University of California, Los Angeles
Dr. Golding received her PhD from the University of California, Los Angeles. She has been teaching at Southern Oregon University since 1997. She specializes in Francophone literature, Women's Autobiography, and French and Francophone cinema. Her current areas of research are French cinema and 21st-century women authors. Dr. Golding is actively involved in the association Women in French Studies: after editing their newsletter for several years, she became the production editor for the Women in French Studies Journal. She will be running the Summer Language Institute, a MA program for French teachers, in Angers, France starting 2013.
