Description
The Digital Music Lab provides specialty music software for music majors and students enrolled in music courses.
Location
Music Building in Room MU 012 (Basement).

- 12 - Macintosh OS X 10.4, iMac G4 2.5 MHz, 15" LCD monitor, DVD/CD-RW.
- 2 - Macintosh OS X 10.4, iMac G4 2.5 MHz, 15" LCD monitor, DVD-RW.
- 1 - Macintosh OS X 10.4, iMac G4 2.5 MHz, 15" LCD monitor, CD-ROM, ProTools Digi001 Interface.
Printers
- 1 - HP LaserJet 4000.

- 1 - Scanner.
- 1 - External Zip Drive.
- 15 - Alesis Quadrasynth QS6.2 MIDI Synthesizers with MOTU Fastlane USB MIDI Interfaces.
- MOTU 828 FireWire Audio Interface.
- Various Microphones (limited availability).
- Headphones.
Software
This lab has the following unique software:
- Digital Performer.
- Sibelius.
- Practica Musica.
- Meta Suite (MetaSynth, MetaTrack, XX).
- Finale (on 3 machines).
- ProTools 6 (on Teaching Station).
Printing Charges
Black & White Printing
- Single sided Black & White printers charge $0.05 per page.
- Duplex (double sided) printers charge $0.05 per side.
- The names of these printers end with "Pay".
Color Printing
- Single sided Color printers charge $0.25 per page.
- The names of these printers end with "Color_Pay".
Additional Services
- 4 Listening Stations with CD, Cassette, and Phonograph playback.
- Archival of Music Department Recordings.
- TV/VCR playback.
Additional Policies
Music students have priority for use of lab.
