Managing your Whitelist

Most people probably won't need to maintain a Whitelist, however if you find that the Spam Firewall is marking mail from a sender you trust as spam you can add that sender to your Whitelist. Mail from people in your Whitelist will never be marked as spam.

Accessing your Whitelist:
From your quarantine list first click the Preferences tab and then click the Whitelist/Blacklist tab.

To add a a sender to your Whitelist:
Type in the address of the person you wish to add to your Whitelist and then click the add button.

To add a domain to your Whitelist:
You can also add domains to your Whitelist by just typing the domain part of the address. For example: uoregon.edu.

To remove a sender from your Whitelist:
To the right of each address in your Whitelist you will see a trash can icon. Click this icon to remove a sender from your Whitelist.
Also displayed is your Blacklist but you should not have to use this. The Spam Firewall should already be blocking all spam. You may want to use this if you receive annoying mail from the same sender that is otherwise not spam. You manage your Blacklist the same way you do your Whitelist.
