SOU Spam Firewall

Dealing with Tagged MessagesMessages that have a low probability of being spam are delivered to your mailbox with the tag [SPAM] added to the beginning of the subject line. They may or may not actually be spam. You should not get very many of these and you may choose to just delete them or read them as with other messages. As the Spam Firewall gets better at identifying spam (it does learn as it goes) you should get less and less of these. If you find that you continue to get very many of these you can use a GroupWise rule to automatically move them into your Junk Mail folder. If you do so you must be sure to check your Junk Mail folder periodically since some of these may not be spam. You don't have the option of classifying tagged messages as spam or not spam the same way that you do with quarantined messages. However if you get a lot of tagged messages from someone you trust, you can add their address to your whitelist. You will need to follow the link that you get in a quarantine summary message, and then follow the instructions on Managing your Whitelist. Creating a GroupWise rule to move tagged messages into your Junk Mail folderBefore you can do this you must have a Junk Mail folder. You may not have one unless you have used GroupWise Junk Mail Handling. If you don't have a Junk Mail folder just create a new folder and call it Junk or Spam. If you haven't created folders before consult the GroupWise Documentation.
