Computer Hardware Purchasing
Most academic and administrative departments are responsible for funding the purchase of their desktop computers and printers. The State of Oregon Department of Administrative Services has purchasing agreements in place which prescribe price and product guidelines. Computing Services is prepared to assist you in the purchase of computer equipment. When the equipment arrives it is delivered to Computing Services where it is tested and configured and then installed in your department. Please allow 3–4 weeks from date of order to delivery.
In Computing Services, Diana Cowart (2-8543) can help with advice and planning of your Windows order, and Scott Mckay (2-8545) can help with your Macintosh planning. Karen Haynes (2-6449) coordinates the ordering of equipment.
