Viewing Courses in a Student's Academic History
Select the Academic History Course Query form (SQAAHST) to view courses in a student's academic history. The form is divided into 3 sections. First is a key block where you will specify the student, and optionally, the term, you wish to view. Second is a summary of that student's history. Third is a course-by-course detail of the classes the student has taken at SOU as well as accepted transfer courses.
Key Block
Student ID: Enter the ID of the student you want to view history for. If you do not know the ID, you may tab to the next field and enter a full or partial name or you may choose Help/List from the menu bar to do a search.
Term code: To see the student's history for one term, enter term code or choose from the list of values. To see the student's history for all terms, leave the term blank. Once the above fields have been entered, choose Block/Next from the menu bar to query the summary and move into the Detail block.
Summary Block
There are no fields in the Summary block which are directly accessible. To select what is viewed in the Summary block, enter Student ID in the Key block as explained above.
Course Detail Block
There are no updateable fields in the Detail block. If a term is entered in the Key block, only courses for that matching term will display in the Detail block. You may use the up and down arrows to scroll through the displayed courses.
Tip: To query a subset of the courses the student has taken, such as those for a single subject, or those where the student got a particular grade, regardless of term, leave the Key block term blank, use Block/Next from the menu to access the Detail block, select Query/Enter from the menu, enter the values in the appropriate column in the Detail block, and choose Query/Execute to perform the query. The form allows you to query on any field you can tab into.
Choose File/Exit from the menu bar to exit the form.
