J1 Students - Transfer Process
You are a transfer student if you are moving from one U.S. school to another (this includes a U.S. high school, college, university, or an English Language Program).
Transferring into SOU
If you are a transfer student, you must:
- be in valid J-1 status,
- have maintained a full-time academic course load at your previous school.
Upon arriving at your new campus, you must:
- obtain a new DS-2019 form from Southern Oregon University,
- enroll at SOU at the next possible term,
- check in with the International Student Advisor (present your immigration documentation).
