Office of International Programs
The Office of International Programs (OIP) is Southern Oregon University's resource for international education and exchange.
The Office of International Programs provides leadership and coordination for the University by implementing the University's goals for international education and exchange. It works closely with faculty, staff, students, scholars, the local community, and international alumni in supporting initiatives to internationalize the campus. OIP consists of three departments:
- Education Abroad: Helps students apply for study abroad for one or more terms, and prepares them for life overseas.
- Intensive English Program (IEP): Provides classes for students who require English proficiency in order to begin fulltime degree studies.
- International Student Services: Provides services for prospective, newly admitted and current SOU international Students.
