Jay Stephens |
The Director is responsible for managing SOU human resource programs, including employment, employee and labor relations, classification and compensation, HR policy development and administration, employee recruitment and retention, training, benefits, personnel records, and HR information systems. The Director provides leadership and is the chief HR advisor to University administrators and is responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable state and federal laws and university rules and policies. |

Gail Beliveau |
Notices of appointment; custodian of official personnel files; review and administration of Classified and temporary staff; performance evaluations; classification and compensation of SEIU employees; Classified staff reclass review; interpretation of HR policies, procedures, and SEIU Collective Bargaining Agreement; processing of employee status change forms. |

Colin Bunnell |
The Training & Development Manager is responsible for development and delivery of training and professional development for staff, enhances individual and team effectiveness through coaching and facilitation, assists with departmental reorganizational analysis and transitional management; reviews position description rewrites, adjustments, reclassifications and interpretation of HR policies, procedures, and SEIU Collective Bargaining Agreement; assist Director with employee relations; employee discipline and related employee/management counseling. Provides back up support for PeopleAdmin and search committee training. |

Jon Jennings |
Jon provides guidance with all aspects of employee recruitment and offers support to and fields questions from both employees and applicants for the PeopleAdmin online recruiting site. He reviews position descriptions and works with hiring managers to determine salaries for new administrative positions; offers search committee training and support; issues offer letters; and processes new employee paperwork. Interpretation of HR policies and procedures and the SEIU Collective Bargaining Agreement is another facet of this position. |
