Peer Education
The Student Health & Wellness Center is the home of the Peer Education Resource Center on campus. The Peer Education Resource Center houses REACT (Responsibility Education And Community Transformation) the peer education group on campus.
REACT is made up of a diverse group of dedicated student who are committed to educating their peers about issues that affect college students. REACT's main focus's are:
- Sexual Health
- Healthy Relationships
- Alcohol & other drugs
- Tobacco Prevention
REACT provides outreach and education in the above topics by request in university classrooms and residence halls.
REACT also provides general outreach to the campus community throughout the year during events such as:
- New Student Orientation
- Sexual Responsibility Week
- Vagina Monologues
- Safe Spring Break
- Safe Memorial Day

REACT is currently accepting applications for the 2009-2010 school year. Weekly REACT meetings this fall are held Tuesday nights at 6:00 p.m. in the Peer Education Center inside the Student Health & Wellness Center.
