If you receive Veterans Benefits, both the monthly amount, and the number of months you receive benefits must be reported on the FAFSA. If you have questions regarding how these benefits are reported, contact the Financial Aid Office.
Some of the types of benefits that must be reported include:
- Chapter 30 New GI
- Chapter 31 Vocational Rehabilitation
- Chapter 32 Contributory
- Chapter 35 GI Bill - Dependent of a Veteran
- Chapter 1606 National Guard
- Chapter 1607 Educational Assistance Program
- Section 156 Reps (Social Security Replacement)
