If you are a student or staff member of SOU, you are automatically registered to receive SOU Alerts using your SOU email account and the phone number given at registration (employees= work number). In case of a large emergency, this mass notification system will quickly send you an alert message. You can customize receiving these alerts through email, phone, cell phone, and text messages. Since you never know where you will be when an alert is sent, we recommend utilizing all of these venues. Click below to log on and add other email addresses, sign up for text messages, and add other phone numbers. Add 541-552-8372 to your contacts as SOU Alert, to know you are receiving an emergency alert. 

The ID (identification number) requested at the log on site is your student ID number or your employee ID number. If you are an employee and need to attain your ID number, please go to https://www.sou.edu/getid.cgi
