Susan Faller-Mitchell
Adjunct Assistant Professor

Education: BA in Journalism from San Jose State University (1981), Teaching Credential from California State University East Bay (1993), MS Mass Communications from San Jose State University (1996).

Mrs. Faller-Mitchell is also a nationally board certified teacher (2003).Mrs. Faller-Mitchell has 15 years of K-8 classroom experience primarily with 4th, 5th, and 8th graders. She has served as a district leader in integration of technology in the classroom, gifted education, and differentiation. She served a year as the Interim Director of Educational Services in Moraga, California giving her administrative insight. Her work with Southern Oregon University includes mentoring of preservice and inservice teachers, developing methodologies that lead to instructional effectiveness, communication between teachers, parents, and community organizations, and teacher reflection.
