Stuart Cotts
Stuart is Theatre Technology Engineer for the Oregon Shakespeare
Festival. After working for two years with PCPA in Santa Maria, CA,
Stuart joined the Oregon Shakespeare Festival as Master Electrician.
Over the 20 years as Master Electrician, Stuart developed significant
software tools to maintain the daily work flow of the lighting
department, including a state of the art the Moving Light software that
drives all of the Festival's intelligent lighting equipment. In 2000,
Stuart took on his current job of Theatre Technology Engineer where he
creates the computer automation system that controls all of OSF's
scenery movement, integrates video systems for production and develops
new software/systems for OSF's production needs. Stuart graduated
Ithaca College with a BFA in Technical Theatre Production in 1979.
