A little biographical information
I am a Professor of Economics at Southern Oregon University, where I've been a faculty member since 1986. I did my undergraduate work at Stanford University and received my PhD from the Heinz School of Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University. I've worked as an economist at the Congressional Budget Office, and was a professor at the University of Hawaii-Hilo before moving to Ashland. My primary research interest was theories of creativity and I've published a number of articles in this area. More recently I've begun working on economic issues related to the arts and outdoor recreation.
