Options in Economics

There are four distinct options available for the economics major. These options allow students to specialize their educational experience to better match their own interests and career aspirations. The four options, and the specific major requirements for each, are listed below. Contact any member of the economics department faculty for further details or advising.

International Economics Option

CORE ECONOMICS COURSES (24 credits):

B. Choose one of the following courses:

REQUIRED FIELD COURSES (8 credits):

ELECTIVE COURSES (16 credits):

16 credits of additional upper division economics. A maximum of 8 of those credits may be chosen from the following non-Econ courses:
