U-CAM: About Our Coaches
U-CAM coaches are from a variety of educational backgrounds, but all have a focus on student success. Each of our coaches is either currently a certified coach or is nearing completion of their certification.

Jennifer Jones has focused on student success throughout her career in education. She has taught classes, developed curriculum and co-created programs for students, grades 9 through undergraduates, all designed to support personal and academic success. A lifetime resident of the Rogue Valley, Jennifer has worked for the Medford School District, Landmark College Summer Program, Southern Oregon University and other non-profit organizations.
As an Academic Coach, Jennifer’s strengths lie in her enthusiasm, her experience and her ability to connect with students in a nonjudgmental, honest and supportive manner.
In her off time, Jennifer plays in the dirt (aka gardening), listens to music (loud), and chauffeurs her teenage daughters around to various sporting, musical and school events.

After 20 years of competitive wrestling spanning six U.S. Opens Theo quickly moved into coaching as an Assistant Wrestling Coach at Southern Oregon University. Theo has coached all levels and takes a coaching approach to his students. Attending junior college, and NAIA Division 1 schools gives him a diverse perspective on college life and what it takes to be successful.
In the classroom, Theo has worked with a wide range of students with disabilities and truly enjoys doing so. Theo is excited to have joined the U-CAM team and looks forward to seeing his students reach their full potential.
In his off time, Theo enjoys spending time with his family and playing the bass guitar.
