Blackboard® Demo Course
BlackBoard is the Course Management System (CMS) used at SOU. A CMS provides a consistent look and feel for all courses, allowing both faculty and students the ability to manuever easily within a course. All online courses are accessed through BlackBoard.
- This short demo course will allow you to experience the CMS.
- The user name is SOU_guest, password is sou (must be lower case)
- Once you're logged in - click the course name on the right side of the screen
- When in the course, click the buttons on the left side to learn a little about how an online course is layed out. Courses will vary, but the basic layout remains the same.
- Under Assignments, Week 2 is a quick "tech-check" to see if you have the necessary plug-ins for the course.
