Complete your Bachelor's degree in Business Administration ONLINE!
Since 1997, Southern Oregon University has been offering highly successful degree completion programs for people whose work and family commitments limit their ability to take classes during the day in Ashland. This experience means that SOU is well-prepared to help working students make the most of their time and studies.
The Online Degree Completion Program in business makes it possible for you to complete a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in management or accounting. Students can choose from a minor in Psychology or Criminology & Criminal Justice.
Though all courses are delivered online, there is a face-to-face requirement. Students are required to visit the campus twice during their program: once for the Orienation to the School of Business (BA201), which is usually held in October, and once for a student's capstone presentation at the end of their program.
The online program is designed for students who:
- have an Associate's degree or have completed approximately 2 years of college
- wish to return to college after an interruption in studies
- have work or family responsibilities that make daytime attendance difficult
- have an employer that encourages additional education
- wish to accomplish greater career goals
Curriculum: The Business Degree Completion Program consists of 56 credits, including the upper division core and a concentration in management or accounting (.pdf). In addition, the student must complete approximately 21-28 credits in a minor area unrelated to business.
In this program you will learn to understand the local, regional, and international business environment; how to bring ethical decision making into your work; how to evaluate, improve, and benchmark customer service; how to develop marketing, human relations, management, and finance skills; and finally, how to appreciate the importance of a corporate mission and your relationship to it.

This knowledge will allow you to approach business situations with the confidence and flexibility needed to work effectively.
