These pages offer information about paying your bill and activating your SOU ID card. Be sure to read and follow all instructions.
Online course fees are due when you register for classes. Students are encouraged to pay all charges in full at the beginning of the term to avoid late fees or penalties. See the Student Accounts site for details about payment options and procedures.
If you are unable to pay your account in full when the term starts, you can use the SOU Revolving Charge Account (RCA) Plan. This monthly payment plan is activated if you do not pay your bill in full by the due date. A nominal fee and interest will be applied to the outstanding balance on your account.
Note: You must sign the terms and conditions of the RCA Plan even if you do not intend to take advantage of the monthly payment option. Otherwise, you will not be able to change your registration or be able to register for future terms. You can sign the form electronically in SISWeb. See the Payment Policies page for instructions on completing the RCA form.
You will automatically receive an SOU OneCard when you enroll at SOU. This serves as your official SOU ID card. Activate the card to access various campus services and to obtain refunds and financial aid disbursements from the university.
Although the OneCard may be used as a credit or debit card, you are not obligated to use it for anything other than your student ID card. Details about the SOU OneCard, including activation instructions, fees, and opt-out information, are available at http://www.sou.edu/souone/.
You will be notified by e-mail when your card has been shipped. Note that the card will come from the Higher One office in New Haven, CT, not directly from SOU. The e-mail notice will contain an illustration of the envelope so that you will recognize it when it arrives.
