Southern Oregon University

This page offers instructions on paying your bill and activating your SOU ID card. Please be sure to read and follow all instructions.

Paying Your Bill

Online course fees are due upon registration for classes. Students are encouraged to pay all charges in full at the beginning of the term to avoid late fees or penalties. See the Student Accounts site for details about payment options and procedures.

If you are unable to pay your account in full, you can use the SOU Revolving Charge Account Plan. This monthly payment plan is activated if you do not pay your bill in full by the due date. A nominal fee and interest will be applied to the outstanding balance on your account. Note that you must sign the terms and conditions of the plan, which can be done electronically in SISWeb, even if you do not intend to take advantage of the monthly payment option. Otherwise, you will not be able to make changes to your registration and may not be able to register for future terms. See the Payment Policies page for instructions on completing the RCA form.

Activating Your SOU OneCard

You will automatically receive an SOU OneCard when you enroll at SOU. Image of OneCardThis serves as your official SOU ID card. You should activate the card to access various campus services and to obtain refunds and financial aid disbursements from the university. Although the OneCard can be used as a credit or debit card, you are not obligated to use it for anything other than an ID card. Details about the SOU OneCard, including activation instructions, possible fees, and opt-out information, is available at: http://www.sou.edu/souone/.

You will be notified by e-mail when your card has been shipped. Note that the card will come from the Higher One office in New Haven, CT, not directly from SOU. The e-mail notice will contain an illustration of the envelope so that you will recognize it when it arrives.
