Degree Completion Programs
General Degree Requirements
To be admitted to as a Computer Science Major, the following requirements need to be met:
- SOU’s University Studies Requirements (see University Studies Requirements .pdf on this page), Oregon Block Transfer Degree, or the CSU or IGETC in California.
- Have approximately 90 quarter hours of transferable credits from an accredited institution. Students with less than 90 hours may still enter the program; however, some lower division courses may need to be taken in order to meet all of the degree requirements.
- Cumulative GPA of no less than 2.5
- Completion of CS 256 Computer Science I and CS 257 Computer Science II with a B or better

All courses with a Computer Science (CS) and Math (Mth) prefixes must be taken for a grade.
