National Sustainable Building Advisor Program (NaSBAP)
Together with Earth Advantage and other local community businesses, Southern Oregon University is proud to help support the National Sustainable Building Advisor Program (NaSBAP). The Sustainable Building Advisor (SBA) certification course covers building site design, landscaping, energy systems, architecture, daylighting, solar, green materials, indoor environmental quality, water conservation, construction methods, LEED and other green building standards.
The program attracts a diverse group of individuals such as home owners, contractors, architects, educators, building/project managers, resource conservation specialists, government agencies, and industry professionals.
The National Sustainable Building Advisor Program (NaSBAP) is a 501(c) 3 non-profit and is also a partner with the Cascadia Sustainability Academy. For more information about NaSBAP visit nasbap.org. The certified training course is a 9-month program (one weekend a month: Fri/Sat). Join this fast growing field in the green job sector.
The next class starts January 7, 2011. An informational session will be held TSeptember 14, October 12, and November 9 at 6:30 p.m. at the RCC/SOU Higher Education Center in Medford. It is endorsed as a Level 400-Mastery course by the USGBC’s Education Provider Program (EEP).
