Community - Special one-credit classes designed to connect University faculty with the community. From library research to music, business management to Mexico, come stretch your mind and meet our talented faculty in Ashland, Medford, and online.

Education to Go - Over a hundred instructor-facilitated online classes each month, making a wide range of topics available to you from the convenience of your home computer.

Elderhostel - Working with the nation's first and world's largest educational travel organization, SOU wants to take you on a journey of exploration at locations around the Pacific Northwest.

OLLI (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute) - With 40+ classes in Ashland and Medford each term, this member-run program offers the opportunity to explore intellectual interests with your peers.

Senior Ventures - Educational adventures combined with housing at SOU

SOU Retirees Association - Emeritus Faculty and other retirees of the University gather quarterly to connect with each other and the University in an intellectual and social environment.

In addition, Oregon residents age 65 or older can audit, at no cost, many of the credit courses listed in the regular SOU class schedule. You must obtain instructor approval and complete an audit form (click here to download [PDF]).
