Part 1

Use emulab to create at least 3 different network topologies. Ping the different nodes to ensure connectivity.

Part 2

From the site http://cs.ecs.baylor.edu/~donahoo/practical/CSockets/textcode.html download, compile, and run at least 2 programs. Make sure you use one TCP and one UDP program. Use TCPDUMP to explain some packets.

Graduate Students

Work on emulab.net. Look for monitoring tools. Also use multicast and broadcast programs (from the website listed).
