David Carter
Assistant Professor
David E. Carter joined the Criminology Department in 2008. He received his B.A. and M.A. in Criminology from East Tennessee State University, and is currently A.B.D. for his Ph.D. in Criminology from the University of Cincinnati. Dave served in the U.S. Army for 8 years prior to attending school. He has published works in the Journal of Research in Crime and Delinquency in the area of life-course research, as well as in the Corrections Compendium, where he wrote about U.S. inmate populations. He also provides consultation and evaluations for correctional programs in the area of effective interventions and evidence-based programing.
