Bio
Susan Walsh is a Professor of Communication at Southern Oregon University. She currently serves as associate provost of the university. She earned her Ph.D. in Communication in Society from the University of Oregon. Her teaching and research interests focus on the intersections between gender, race, politics, and the media. Dr. Walsh served as Department Chair from 2002 through 2006. She has served on numerous committees including Faculty Personnel Committee, Faculty Senate, several search committees (most recently for Provost), and President of the Associated Professors of Southern Oregon University (APSOU).
