Howard Schreiber teaches in the Video Production sequence at SOU. He has over 25 years experience producing industrial, educational and entertainment programming.
Since obtaining his Masters Degree from Boston College in 1976, he has simultaneously worked in education and the professional film and video industry. His classes emphasize professional standards and techniques which integrate academics with real world production exigencies. He has been a producer of acclaimed multimedia entertainment, two independent feature films, over 100 nationally distributed educational films and libraries of training and promotional videos for large corporations including: National Safety Council; Caterpillar Corporation; US Forest Service; Legal Services and the Robotics Industries Association.
He is actively involved in the Southern Oregon Arts community most recently as a member of the board of the Ashland Independent Film Festival.
