Jon Lange is Professor of Communication and the Coordinator of SOU's Conflict Resolution Certificate program. He chaired the Communication Department from 1987 through 1992. For seven years, Dr. Lange served as the Director of Training and Organizational Development at the university.

Jon has also served on dozens of department and university committees and was the Director of the Accelerated Baccalaureate Program and Chair of the Community-Based Learning Committee. Jon’s research has appeared in national and regional journals and his work off-campus has been extensive, mainly facilitating or mediating the resolution of environmental, healthcare and workplace multi-party disputes. He is on the roster for the U.S. Institute of Environmental Conflict Resolution.

Jon currently serves on the Board of Directors for Mediation Works, Southern Oregon's community dispute resolution center.
