Graduate Preparation
School Honors
Undergraduate students earning a cumulative institutional GPA of 3.5 or better are eligible for University honors. All students achieving these honors will be presented with an honor cord the morning of commencement at check in.
- Cum Laude: 3.50–3.74
- Magna Cum Laude: 3.75–3.89
- Summa Cum Laude: 3.90–4.00
Student Loan Exit Interviews
If you have received any of the following types of financial aid while attending SOU, federal regulations require that you complete an Exit Interview before leaving the University:
- William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan
- Stafford Loan
- Perkins Loan
- A.B. Fisher Graduate Loan
- Britt Long Term Loan
- Institutional Long Term Loan
Your repayment obligations and rights will be reviewed at that time. Please visit the following web site(s) for your exit interview:
