Program Notes by Ed Wight
Ed Wight has an undergraduate degree in music history, theory and literature from Willamette University, and a Masters Degree in Music History, with a thesis on 18th-century melodic style in opera from University of Oregon. He writes program notes for CMC and the Southern Oregon Repertory Singers (SORS), and has given concert and season promotional presentations at many retirement communities. He presents pre-concert talks for CMC, SORS and Peter Britt Music Festival, and is an adjunct music instructor at SOU.
