Physician's Assistant

Students at SOU may complete coursework in preparation for application to physician’s assistant programs. A bachelor’s degree is required for some programs. Required courses include Principles of Biology, General Chemistry, Psychology, Human Anatomy and Physiology, and Microbiology. Recommended electives include Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Statistics. The pre-physician’s assistant program advisors are Kathleen Page and John Sollinger, Department of Biology.
