Students at SOU may complete coursework in preparation for application to physician's assistant programs. A bachelor's degree is required for some programs. Required courses include Principles of Biology, General Chemistry, Psychology, Human Anatomy, Physiology, and Microbiology. Recommended electives include Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Statistics. The advisor for the pre-physician's assistant program is Darlene Southworth, Department of Biology.First Year
