Approved schools of medical technology require three years of preparatory courses or a bachelor's degree for admission. The curriculum in medical technology at SOU meets the requirements of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists for admission to clinical studies. Additional courses needed to qualify for clinical licensing and a bachelor's degree are offered at Oregon Health Sciences University and are subject to competitive admission.The following first-year curriculum is suggested.
