Many sectors of business require strong quantitative analytical training. The business-mathematics co-major provides students with training in both areas.

Students should plan their programs carefully with advisors from both the Department of Mathematics and the School of Business.

Mathematics Requirements

(41 credits)

• Calculus (Mth 251, 252, 253) 12
• Linear Algebra (Mth 261) 4
• Mathematical Perspectives (Mth 290) 1
• Number Structures (Mth 311) 4
• Probability (Mth 361) 4
• Statistics (Mth 461) 4

Three additional upper division mathematics courses; at least one must be at the 400 level and at least one must be applied. Choose applied course from:

• Mth 321 or 421 12
