Student Alumni Etiquette Dinner
The first Student Alumni Etiquette Dinner was held last spring. Students learned what it takes to make a great first impression and how to navigate through a formal dinner with style.
The dinner was preceded by a networking session in which students were able to practice juggling hors d'oeuvres and punch while greeting people and carrying on conversation. Learn more about professional social etiquette.
During the three-course meal, students were seated with alumni that graduated in their major or school, as they learned the basics of proper dining, from use of the napkin, silverware, and glassware to what to do at the conclusion of the meal. A panel of professionals guided students through simple etiquette techniques.
