Summary and Self-Reflection Paper (50 points)
Turn in a type-written, double-spaced paper of approximately 3 to 5 Pages that:
- Summarizes the concepts presented during the course that you consider to be most significant; and
- Your intentions and any results from your efforts to engage in any behavioral changes discussed during your coaching sessions, as well as any efforts to bring more fully into your lives the values you selected during the class.
Creation of your “Ideal ______” List (30 points)
Using the paper entitled “The Ideal Coach” that is in your class materials as an outline, select a role of importance in your life and create a list of at least 7 ideal characteristics that you would like to see manifested by you in that role. The role could be anything, e.g. manager, parent, child, mentor, coach—any role you choose that you currently play in your life. The idea is to make this list meaningful and useful for you. You might want to post the list on a wall or print it on a card to keep in your wallet. It is a way to assist in the “reprogramming” of the sub-conscious mind by creating a clear vision and presenting that vision to the sub-conscious mind regularly. This does work!
Practice Coaching Session (not graded)
Coach someone for any period of time in preparation for our discussion during the initial Bridge-Line Conference Call.
Delivery of Written Work Product and Due Date
The Summary and Self-Reflection Paper AND your "Ideal _____" List are due by FRIDAY, AUGUST 11, 2005. Points will be deducted for late submissions. Your papers can be emailed to paul@cwgcoachingservices.com.
