Katie Pittman is an Associate Professor in the School of Business at Southern Oregon University. She joined SOU in the Summer of 1999.
Katie earned a BS degree (1983) in Marketing from LeMoyne College in Syracuse , New York , an MBA (1989) in Computer Information Systems from San Francisco State University. She is currently working on earning her Ph.D. in Information Systems from Nova Southeastern University. Her background includes eighteen years of work experience outside of academia; primarily in data analysis and in the development, maintenance, and administration of organizational information systems.
She lives in Ashland with her husband, two children, and three dogs. Her favorite activity (other than teaching and advising, of course) is hiking in the beautiful mountains surrounding Ashland.
