Meredith Reynolds joined the administrative faculty of SOU in July 1986, and is an Associate Professor. She has BAs in Spanish and Humanities from Southern Oregon College, June 1974, and an MA in Romance Languages/Spanish from the University of Oregon, December 1978.  Meredith coordinates the School of Business Internship course, BA 409. She also coordinates the delivery of SOU's Master in Management program at the Universidad de Guanajuato (UG) in Mexico, and is the grant manager for a United States Agency for International Development grant between SOU and UG, which focuses on professional work force development in central Mexico .

Prior to coming to SOU, Meredith taught at the Universidad de Guanajuato in Mexico for five years. At SOU, she has served as Associate Director of Senior Programs (Elderhostel and Senior Ventures), State Director of Oregon Elderhostel, and as the coordinator of the Amistad Program through the Office of International Programs.

In addition to numerous campus committees, she has served as a member and executive member of the SOU Faculty Senate; as member, executive member and president of the SOU Alumni Association; and as associate member of the SOU Foundation. She is a past president of the SOU Chapter of Phi Kappa Phi.

At home, she oversees a herd of purebred Shorthorn cattle, a Queensland Heeler pup and three cats. She enjoys jazz, classical music, and most anything from Mexico, especially artesanry, music and the great range of culinary treasures from throughout the country. She spends as much time as she can with friends in central Mexico, especially Guanajuato.
