Dave Harris is Dean of the SOU School of Business. Prior to joining SOU, he was Professor of Management at the University of Central Oklahoma College of Business Administration. He also served as Dean for five years.
Dave has extensive experience in international business. He worked as an executive at Itochu Corporation, one of the world’s largest companies. He was also a manager for Murata Business Systems, a Japanese facsimile company. Dave lived in Japan for over sixteen years and speaks conversational Japanese.
Dave earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington and a Masters of Management and a Juris Doctorate from Willamette University. He enjoys eating sushi, playing golf, going to the Oregon Coast, and spending time with his two dynamic dogs, Hacu and Mattie.
