CPA Review
SOU offers an annual CPA Review course each Spring term. Two courses will be available, each covering 2 parts of the CPA Exam. One course (BA 465A) will cover Financial and Auditing and the other (BA 465B) will cover Regulation and Business Environment. Both classes will be held in the Central Hall computer lab (CE 104). The 2010 courses will begin March 29th and end on June 2nd.
The courses emphasize learning through preparation and practice. The required face-to-face meetings for the BA 465A class will be on Monday, March 29 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, May 3 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., and Wednesday, June 2 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The required face-to-face meetings for the BA 465B class will be Monday, March 29 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, May 3 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday, June 2 from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. In the first meeting, we will discuss how to approach the CPA Exam, materials available and tips for success. The additional two meetings for each class will be for taking the midterm and the final exam. Students will be expected to utilize the Gleim software purchased and provide progress reports to the instructor in between the face-to-face meetings.

If you register for one or both of these courses be sure to login to Blackboard at least two weeks before Spring term begins to find out important information about materials to be obtained and assignments to be completed before the first class.
