The Hospitality and Tourism Management Club of Southern Oregon University is designed to expose students to the world of Hospitality and Tourism. This club is open to any SOU student interested in the concentration. We focus on the Lodging, Food and Beverage, Tourism and Event Planning fields through guest speakers, fundraisers, attending conventions and trade shows and planning events for the entire Rogue Valley Community. Also, the club promotes experience and networking throughout the Hospitality and Tourism field in order to benefit each member. Our professional affiliation with HSMAI gives our members professional exposure to nearly 7,000 members from 35 countries and chapters worldwide. HSMAI's Americas Region, headquartered in McLean, VA, consists of 38 chapters in three countries. Portland, OR, home of the Oregon Chapter, provides our members the ability to network and intern with the largest Hospitality employment base in the state. |
